Our Mission

The Center for Information Technology (CIT) at Deep Run High School in Glen Allen, Virginia, is a highly selective specialty center for students passionate about technology. CIT develops advanced technical and soft skills to prepare students for success in college and professional careers. The Core Values: respect, integrity, teamwork and excellence drive its curriculum and culture.

The CIT curriculum combines academic rigor with real-world relevance, offering IT and computer science courses that challenge students to push their limits. CIT alumni consistently share how the program’s coursework and experiences prepared them for higher education and industry careers.
